Anzu often befriends or is otherwise welcoming and approachable to her targets, treating them to meals and such before taking them out. Her reasoning is less about gaining false trust, and more wanting her victims to die in a happy state of mind.
While this is effective for her work, it has made her actual allies slow to trust her.

Anzu and her companions are no strangers to hosting social events. Tea parties, galas, and all sorts of gatherings. If you have ever attended one, its very likely you were personally invited or greeted by Anzu, who would be very interested in if you enjoyed attending.
Anzu may have been in your party during a dungeon expedition. She may have stuck in you mind when she adamantly insisted you all stop and regain your strength before battle, laying out a small picnic for everyone to enjoy.
